Hi Everyone,
This month’s rare video is the 2001 Houston Rodeo. We had done the Houston Rodeo many years ago and I remembered that it was a great experience. This turned out to be another one.
The audience was just as excited as I remembered, the huge rodeo was just as thrilling as I remembered and the smell was even worse than I remembered!!
I loved singing “Can’t Smile Without You” from the back of a pickup truck while they drove me around the arena madly.
It was impossible to sing while being in the center of the arena because the slap-back of the sound-system made everything I heard come back a few seconds late! But stuff like technical problems just added to the excitement.
I even did a piece of a beautiful Hank Williams song - which I had totally forgotten about, until now.
This Houston Rodeo is one of my favorite memories. Hope you enjoy it!
Love,
Barry

2003 BMIFC Convention Q&A
Hi Everyone and Happy New Year!

Some of you might remember that in 2003 we had a convention in Ft. Lauderdale.
It was a big success and lots of fun for everyone.
I did a question and answer hour on one of the afternoons. We all... -

Hi Everyone,
Back 2009, we did a benefit for the “Breast Cancer Research Foundation” at the Nassau Coliseum. We did it on Valentine’s Day and, duh, I thought, let’s do “My Funny Valentine!
My band and I came up with a gorgeous arrangement of the song during our sound check. During the day, I wa...
