Hilton Decades - Las Vegas Hilton, NV - 2006 to 2008

Hi Everyone,
This month’s video is one-of-a-kind.
In 2006, while we were at the Hilton, I began recording a run of albums that paid tribute to the music of various decades.
The first was “The Greatest Songs of the Fifties” which amazingly entered the charts at #1.
That album was followed by “The Greatest Songs of the Sixties”, “Seventies” and “Eighties”. The last one was released in 2008.
Each time we released a Decades album, I decided to put a production number into the Hilton shows that showcased that decade.
They were very entertaining and the audiences loved them. But they were a lot of work.
For this month’s Manilow TV, we’ve put together all of the Decades productions that we did at the Hilton, starting with the 1940’s.
Watching them brought back great memories and reminded me how incredibly talented my band, singers and production crew were.
Seth Jackson, designed lighting for each section, Leslie Hamel created costumes for the cast, and Sacha Bambadji, Amber Jones and my wonderful crew designed the staging for each Decade section.
And nobody complained!
In fact, I think it was the most creative years for all of us.
It’s an amazing video to watch.
Hope you all agree.
Love,
Barry
