Happy New Year everyone!

As we begin 2011 (!!!), I thought I’d start the year off with the video of Opening Night at the Las Vegas Hilton. As you know, we were at the Hilton for five years. Five wonderful years.

So many events happened during those five years that our show kept morphing into different variations month after month. During our run there, we released six CD’s – Greatest Songs of The 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, In The Swing of Christmas and The Greatest Love Songs of All Time. So of course we adapted the shows to showcase whatever CD was current. Every night we changed songs, clothes, lighting, sketches and hair color! The last show at the Hilton is very far away from what this opening night show looked and sounded like.

As great as it is to be on the Las Vegas Strip at Paris Las Vegas, I must say that I can’t remember one night at the Las Vegas Hilton that wasn’t fun. We would all celebrate after each show. The audiences there were exciting and encouraging. We went through everything from wild successes (an Emmy!) to pain and sorrow.

Our run at the Hilton represented life, family and love. I’ll always be grateful to the people at the Hilton- from the executives to the ushers-for making our stay there so memorable. And of course, I’ll never forget the support of my wonderful fans for sticking with us for five years.
