We’ve chosen a surprising video from our 1990 Tour Of Japan.
I’ve always loved our tours of Japan,
the people are always so enthusiastic and welcoming,
and this is the last show of that tour.
1990 was was a relatively short Touring year …
as it was the culmination of a tour that started with the “Big Fun" in 1987,
ran into the “Copacabana Tour in 1988,
which morphed into the “Live on Broadway Tour” 1989,
(including the long Gershwin run in New York)
then various one nighters, ,and ended with Holiday shows at the Universal Amphitheater.
Phew!
1990 started with a UK tour, including a great run at the London Palladium ...
and then we went to Japan in April!
I remember that I actually took Japanese for a while before this tour,
as I really wanted to connect with the audience,
and with the help of a cue card here and there,
I didn’t do too bad!
This is a very memorable show for me with a surprising set list,
that documents the end of that wonderful 3 year road trip!
Hope you enjoy this one!
Love,
Barry

Hi Everyone,
This month it’s Act 2 of the show we aired last month – Birmingham, England on April 16th, 1996.
There’s a beautiful rendition of Irving Berlin’s “How Deep Is The Ocean” that I think you’ll like.
Also, whenever I can sing “Forever And A Day” I’m a happy guy. It’s in this sh...

Hi Everyone,
This month’s video comes from our 1993 Summer Tour, 26 years ago, at one of my favorite venues, the Concord Pavilion just outside of San Francisco.
It’s a professional video feed done by the venue, so it’s a terrific documentation of our show!
This was the last show of our ...
