Marc really found a great one this time.
It’s the rehearsal for the 1985 Summer Tour.
Or the annual “Let’s see Barry for free show”!
See, before we would start touring, I always needed to see if the show was strong, so we invited friends and family to the rehearsal hall where we were rehearsing.
They were always a great audience.
So this is that.
Interesting that this rehearsal has songs in it we dropped as the tour went on.
Like – “How Do I Stop Loving You?”, and “Lightnin' Strikes”.
I had just finished recording the “Manilow” album and “In Search of Love” and “Some Sweet Day” from that album are in this set.
“Some Sweet Day” is power house of song, not sure why I cut it for the next tour.
It’s a real strong act.
