Hi Everyone!
Well, we’re coming to the end of another wild year. From sold out arenas, to 18,000 fans at the Co-op Live in Manchester, to a sold out month in England at the prestigious London Palladium, to sold out shows at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, it really has been a wild year for us.
This month’s MTV was recorded on December 5th, 2003. That’s 21 years ago!
It’s “A&E Live by Request”. This was their Christmas version and it was a great show. I just loved doing it.
We were live on the air and the feeling in the studio was electric! “Live By Request” was an A&E series where the audience at home would call the performer, live on the air and request a song. And if the artist didn’t know that song, someone else would get a chance until the performer would get to play the request.
Luckily, my band and I knew all the requests so we had a ball.
My guests were Jose Feliciano and Cyndi Lauper and they were terrific.
If you haven’t seen this show, I know you’re going to love it. And if you have, you’ll love it again!
Have a great holiday, my friends, stay well and happy and I’ll see you next year!
All my love,
Barry

Hi Friends,
This month, we're taking you back to 1999 — and Barry's going big.
After the intimate five-piece setup of the Clicker Tour, Barry flipped the script entirely: 40 musicians, three-piece suits, and a full orchestra that brought to life the lush arrangements of Manilow Sings Sinatra.... -

Hi Everyone,
Come with me back, back, way back in time this month.
We go back to 1984!
I was really surprised to find that we even HAD a video of this show. But my wonderful assistant Marc was crunched down in the 10th row taping the show with a cheap home camera! And it’s a fine recordi...

Hi Everyone,
We found this video hiding in the vault and it makes perfect sense to play it on this month’s ManilowTV.
As you might know, we’re heading for another run on Broadway, this time at the sensational Lunt-Fontanne theater.
And by coincidence, the video we found was closing night...
