Hi everyone.
Time for ManilowTV.
This month’s show is a memorable one.
We were in Chicago at Poplar Creek, an indoor-outdoor arena, with seats under a roof and a huge lawn for people to sit on. It was a hot summer night and I remember fighting the bugs during the songs.
This show was very special because it had the First Barry Manilow Fan Club Convention.
Can you imagine that audience? They were wild and such fun.
It was one of the first times I sang the beautiful “No Other Love” and Act 2 began with the Barrytone News. That’s pretty funny.
I think you’ll enjoy this trip down memory lane.
Enjoy,
Barry
