Hi Everyone,
This month’s MTV was never meant to be shown. It’s a video of backstage and personal moments that Marc shot for me to see.
The show is from Birmingham, UK on January 11, 1986.
It was the last show of a 14-month long tour that started as the Paradise Tour and morphed into the Copacabana Tour.
Marc captured backstage moments before we started the show as well as highlights from the show, including one of the few times I ever performed “If You Were Here With Me Tonight” live.
Apologies: the quality is really bad, but we’ve done everything to make it as clear as we can.
The band, the singers and me are in great shape. Amazing considering how long we had been working.
As a Lucky Strike extra, we found another partial show from the week prior in Birmingham when I performed “Best Seat In The House”, a real emotional song, for the first time ever.
This is the only video of its kind that we have in the vault and I really think you’ll enjoy it.
Love,
B.

Hi Everyone,
This month’s MTV is a very appropriate one.
Since we’re celebrating our 500th show (!!) at the Westgate (Las Vegas Hilton), this month's MTV takes place the very first time we performed on that stage.
500 shows! Wow!
