Live2002!
Kodak Theatre
Los Angeles, CA
December 31st, 2001
Hi Everyone,
This month’s Manilow Archive is the New Years Eve show at the Kodak Theatre on December 31st, 2001. We got many requests for this show and we found the close-up camera tape of it, so here it is.
Bronchitis had attacked and we had to postpone the week prior to this show, but it had subsided and this show was the first of four shows even though I had no idea if my voice was ready to back to work.
Nobody will ever forget 9/11/01 and I wanted to be with my band, crew and audience to see 2001 out, so I took a chance that I would get through the show, and thank goodness, I made it through the rain.
I had placed boxes of Kleenex all over the stage for a gag. When the audience came into the theater they saw the Kleenex boxes lines up at the foot of the stage, on the band risers, on the piano, on the band’s instruments- all over the place. Made me laugh.
Hope you enjoy this episode and thanks to the folks who requested it.

But those shows...

Hi everyone,
This audio file is a very rare one.
It’s a benefit I did for the Annenberg Museum in Palm Springs.
I did it with one of the great spiritual speakers that bases out of Palm Springs. He’s very loved in the Coachella Valley.
Very smart, very experienced and so well spoken.
