Manilow Tour Of The World
Radio City Music Hall
New York City, New York
April 16, 1997
Hi Everyone
This month’s Manilow TV video is one of my favorites. It’s The Clicker Tour!
This April 16, 1997 performance, comes from the first night of our 8 night run, at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.
The Clicker Tour was way ahead of its time. When I think how complicated the production was, it amazes me that we could have pulled it off.
Once again, like so many other times, I came up with a crazy idea that I never thought could be done, and my genius friend and co-producer David Benson made it happen.
Of course today with all the sophisticated technology, it doesn’t seem like such a complicated production, but it was very difficult to create this show nearly 20 years ago. But David did it.
My small band sounded like giants and the set that Tory Jones created for us is one of my favorites.
It’s a fun, musical and personal evening.
Hope you enjoy it.

That year, 1996, we toured in the round. We all had to get used to the new staging of the show, but once we got used to it, we all found it very exciting. Not only were we runni...

Hi Everyone,
This month it’s Act 2 of the show we aired last month – Birmingham, England on April 16th, 1996.
There’s a beautiful rendition of Irving Berlin’s “How Deep Is The Ocean” that I think you’ll like.
Also, whenever I can sing “Forever And A Day” I’m a happy guy. It’s in this sh...
