Hi Everyone,
Marc here, Barry’s Assistant for the past 75 years!
This month’s MTV is another deep dive into the Video Vault!
It’s a wonderful show from the second of TWO night’s at Boston Garden, on Barry’s world tour in 1980…
This is a wow, because he say's to the audience “it’s been an incredible five years…it’s only been five years since “Mandy” so thank you”.
Five years since “Mandy”??? Amazing.
The show is filled with his old hits, and brand new hits,
jokes, his wonderful musical arranging,
and most of all a solid two-hours of incredible entertainment.
He debuts a few songs from the “Barry” album which was being released the next day, including first time performances of the wonderful “Life Will Go On” and amazingly enough he introduces “I Made It Through The Rain”,
to silence, because the audience had never hear it!
It’s a great show, and it’s staggering what Barry accomplished in those first five years of his career !
Enjoy this one!
Marc
