Hi Friends,
This one starts with a statement.
The year is 2004. It's an election year. Barry has jokingly decided the country needs him…so he reports for duty by arriving in a cloud of smoke, rising from the center of the stage in the leather jacket Keanu Reeves wore in The Matrix.
And that's just the entrance.
This tour is in the round. No front. No back. The audience wraps around him on all sides and Barry treats every seat like it's front row center.
The setlist is deep and the show never lets up. But the closing medley is something else.
"Why Don't We Live Together" flows into "One Voice," into "My Country Tis Of Thee," into "Dancin' In The Aisles." It's Barry doing what Barry does…finding the thread that connects a song, a room, and a moment in time.
Barry Manilow, reporting for duty.
Enjoy,

The first was “The Greatest Songs of the Fifties” which amazingly entered the charts at #1.
That album was followed by “...
