Hi everyone,
Time for another rare video from the vault.
This one was such fun.
Down here, in the Coachella Valley, where I live, there’s a wonderful organization called AIDS Assistance Program. It’s a non-profit group that has been in existence since 1991. Their mission is to provide support to low-income men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS. They do great work. It’s run by five passionate volunteers with very big hearts.
Each year they do a fundraiser which they call “Evening Under The Stars”. It’s held outdoors on a beautiful golf course in Palm Springs.
The evening generates a major portion of their operating budget and it’s always a fun and very moving event.
In 2006 I was happy to entertain the crowd and I brought with me two of my dearest friends: Suzanne Somers and Lorna Luft. We all had a great time and that performance is this month’s video.
It’s another one of those fabulous Marc Hulett (I call him “Cecil B. DeHulett”) close-up videos.
I think you’ll enjoy this one.
Love,
Barry

Sheba Humanitarian Awards 1999
Hi Everyone,
This month’s Manilow TV is a rare find, indeed. The Sheba Foundation, a non-profit organization in Israel supporting the Ethiopian Jewish community of Israel, chose to honor me for their yearly dinner in 1999.
It was definitely an honor and a wonderful evening.
I had no ide...
